Just read this, out of pure curiosity, and it really grabbed my interest. You talk a lot about the male leading the family. Not sure if I totally agree, but you definitely have the right to your opinion :) I am just curious what you think of male and female role sin the bigger picture I guess. Should men and women be restricted to certain jobs? At home, should the woman complete certain tasks and the man others?
We are in a world that is pushing for equality of the sexes all the time and I find it curious and very interesting you believe the man should be the head of a household as it contradicts a lot of the current work being done in the human rights field! Just wanting to know what you think!
PS: Keep up the good work on this site, I love it.

I don't necessarily think that men and women should be restricted to certain roles in the workplace- but I also think a lot of women think we can do everything a man does. I don't agree. Men and women were created different: physically, emotionally, mentally. Men and women are driven differently and run on different emotions. That's why there is conflict in marriage and relationships. Because we are forever trying to figure the opposite sex out. I think we just have to be honest and do tasks and jobs that we are able to do. The job requirements shouldn't change based on gender, the employee, in my opinion, should hire the person who can do the job. As far as roles in the home... most of the "chores" in the home I think a woman is able to do- some women may be able to do more, some less. I think there are "manly" jobs like takin' out the trash, that would just be nice if the man did it:) You are right, the world is pushing for the equality of sexes (among other things) and it seems that the world steers itself in the opposite direction of what the Bible teaches. Hence, the reason for such dysfunction in the world! The reason I believe the man should be the head of the household is because the Bible teaches that. When we do as the Bible suggests/commands, we follow how the Creator designed things to be. He knew how men and women handle/work/tick because He created us! If men would be men and leaders in addition to loving Jesus in their home; and if women would be submissive to their husbands- serving them, the home would be much more healthy. It's when we try to live apart from what the Bible teaches that things become dysfunctional. And I am not too sure what else to say!
I really think societies' institutions have pushed the roles of men and women to the extreme. Really, besides some small differences biologically, men and women are exactly the same and sometimes two men are more different than a man and a woman. I think people should do what they want to do and follow their dreams. If that means doing something that the opposite gender would typically do, then so be it. Hopefully that makes sense!
