Bible Study
Hey, glad you are checking out these pages, as these are my favorite! My personal goal is to read a chapter of the Bible a day, reflecting on its contents, making notes and praying on what I've read. As I proceed in my reading, I would like to share things that spoke to me, verses that I want to meditate on, verses I didn't understand or want to further study etc. I don't know how in depth these notes will be and I'm sure that they will differ from chapter to chapter or book to book. I will share the questions I ask myself, and hopefully you can be challenged by them too. My intentions are not to interpret Scripture for you, but just to share my insights. I use the ESV (English Standard Version) for my daily reading and study, unless otherwise noted. For my in depth study notes, I generally follow Rick Warren's Bible Study Methods ( https://www.amazon.com/Rick-Warrens-Bible-Study-Methods/dp/0310273005). There are many Bible commentaries, dictionaries and encyclopedias to do more in depth research too. Personally, I use https://www.biblegateway.com/ for its online commentaries and multiple Bible translations as well as the ESV Study Bible for my primary version and study background notes (https://www.christianbook.com/esv-study-bible-hardcover/9781433502415/pd/502415?kw=ESV%20study%20bible&event=PPCSRC&p=1018818&cm_mmc=Google-_-Bibles-_-esv%20study-_-ESV%20study%20bible&gclid=CJ3w_d7D3qwCFacEQAodo34jrA). If you read the same Scripture I read and want to share what God has shown you through it, please bless me with whats on your heart!!
