A Great Example

What does this image do to you?  It made me weep.   My heart filled with compassion, my flesh was temporarily destroyed.  I saw this picture on Facebook, and I couldn't stop staring at it.  This is who I want to be.  I want to be willing to give whatever I have to someone who needs it.  I know it wasn't a car, $100 or something big and amazing.  But I think this is more significant.  This man simply gave the woman his shoes.  Something so simple, yet so important.  Many of us would be willing to write a check for $100- but would you be willing to give someone your shoes?  I'm not talking about the shoes in the box in your storage room.   I am talking about the shoes you are wearing.  If this thought doesn't wreck you or make you think, check your pulse.  What a great example- a real example of Jesus.  Do you truly want to be like Jesus?
